Kuala Lumpur: Bursa Malaysia share prices opens lower early on Monday. The FBM KLCI dragged 0.23% lower at early morning, following weaker global markets. At 10 am, the FBM KLCI fell 3.91 points to 1,691.97.

Decliners drove gainers by 277 to 198, while 229 counters exchanged unaltered. Volume was 408.6 million offers esteemed at RM205.11 million.

The top decliners included Nestle (M) Bhd, Hong Leong Bank Bhd, Kian Joo Can Factory Bhd, Ornapaper Bhd, PETRONAS Gas Bhd, Hengyuan Refining Company Bhd, Dufu Technology Corp Bhd, KESM Industries Bhd, and Computer Forms (M) Bhd.

The gainers included AirAsia Group Bhd, United Plantations Bhd, MISC Bhd, Petronas Dagangan Bhd, Muhibbah Engineering (M) Bhd, Lotte Chemical Titan Holding Bhd, Hap Seng Consolidated Bhd, and Scicom (MSC) Bhd.

The stock which remains in focus early trade on Monday:

AirAsia picked up 13 sen to RM3.02 on desires for a guard profit, LC Titan added six sen to RM4.91, Cocoaland and EITA increased five sen each to RM2.05 and RM1.43 while WTK added 4.5 sen to 52.5 sen.

IOI Properties Group Bhd shares fell 1.8% at early in the day today after the gathering detailed its net benefit declined 54.3% to RM111.96 million for the principal quarter finished Sept 30 (1QFY19).

Bumi Armada Bhd shares fell 4.69% toward the beginning of today after it posted a second from last quarter net loss of RM502.83 million versus a net benefit of RM123.73 million per year sooner as it perceived essentially higher resource debilitations.

The Dow dropped to its most four months lows, while the S&P 500 slid to a six-month low. The all finished the day in negative domain.
